East Coast Road Trip a Colour Story of Atlantic Canada

Specifically dyed and only available at Deanne Fitzpatrick Studio, the colours of the East Coast Road Trip are the colours I have favoured in my rugs over the years.  They remind me of country drives, open car windows, yes...even a storm.

Colour Straw - Think Tantramar Marsh, and fresh cut hay, wheat, straw hats and summer fields. 

Our "Studio-Dyed" wools  are dyed in-house by artists.   Yarns  are normally dyed in lots of eight and our color fabrics by the yard. Each time we create a new dye lot we update the picture on the website to ensure that you can see what you are ordering.  No two are exactly alike. Water temperature,dyes, mordants and repositioning the wool  all affect the colouring of the final product. 

Dying wool is an art form and each skein is as unique as it is beautiful.
