An elegant, large-scale, vintage saddle ring, modeled in 14k yellow gold, featuring a carved, moss in snow, jadeite jade cabochon. This natural, untreated, "A" jade cabochon is held in a smooth, low-profile bezel— it has been cut on a curve to create the classic saddle shape of the ring, and is set low, so that the cool jade lays against the wearer's skin. This jade cabochon is snow white, with trailing light green figuring. It is carved with soft botanical forms that respond to the green figuring in the stone, and create appealing, tactile depth and texture on its face. This ring is very comfortable. Its shoulders are cut in to allow the ring to lay effortlessly on the hand, and all parts of the setting are smooth and rounded. Marked 14k for purity, and with the maker's monogram.
